Pizza Parma

I visited Italy several times the past year and everytime I go back home I miss the food, it’s so delicious and unique there and the lovely atmosphere is making it even more delicious. Pizza Parma is one my favourite pizzas, it’s topped with some parma ham, parmesan, ruccola and tomato sauce. Yesterday I baked this delicious pizza and it came out very nice, a nice dough and a very tasty tomato sauce.

Recipe: Pizza Parma

SummaryA delicious Italian pizza called Pizza Parma, topped with parma ham, parmesan tomatoes and ruccola. Absolutely delicious!

  • Tomato sauce:
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 onion
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • Ruccola
  • Tomatoes
  • Parmesan

  1. Start with cooking the tomato sauce, cut onions and garlic and fry in some olive oil. Add the crushed tomatoes, olive oil, spices and herbs and let simmer for around 15-20 minutes.
  2. Start the pizza dough with crumble the yeast in a bowl and pour over the water which should be around 37 Celsius degrees.  Add oil, flour and salt and mix the dough until it’s smooth and elastic. Cover with a kitchen towel and let it rise for around 45 minutes.
  3. Start the oven on 250 Celsius degrees.
  4. Take out the dough and shape two pizzas from the dough. Either you can use your hand to shape the pizzas or else use rolling pin, it works as well. Add the tomato sauce and some mozzarella and bake for around 10 minutes. Put the rest of the topping and serve.
