French Toast is one of my absolute favorites when it comes to Brunch dishes. Maybe not as good as Eggs Benedict but every time that I feel like something sweet this is what I would make or order. Today I topped the french toast with a scoop of ice cream and some nice berries, and of course a cappuccino with that. Delicious and so easy to make, you should try it!

Recipe for French Toast

Summary: This is one of my favourites when it comes to brunch or breakfast. Sweet but so delicious! 


  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 4 thick slices of bread
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon


  1. French toast: Whisk egg, salt, milk, cinnamon and sugar in a bowl until mixed.
  2. Melt butter in a frying pan on medium heat.
  3. Dip the bread slices in the batter and let them soak for a few minutes. Fry them on both sides until golden brown, around 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Serve with berries and some ice cream.

Ready in: 15 minutes
